To write stories about the rise of precarious work in Canada and to emphasize how this has undermined the Canadian economy and affected Canadian society. We believe in key policy tools to fight precarious work, including basic income policy, living wages, and strengthened labour standards. While most people want stable, full-time jobs with a living wage, a growing minority want the flexibility of the gig economy. We also advocate for a better deal for them by pushing for helpful legislative changes.
We are Canadian nationalists, born not of anti-American or anti-immigrant sentiments, but rather in the belief that Canada should be self-sufficient in its economic, political, and cultural destiny.
